The Broadneck High School Marching Bruins Band is a highly competitive band with a history of many accomplishments. In 2019, 2022 and 2023, the Marching Bruins participated in the Maryland Marching Band Association and US Bands competitions throughout Maryland, culminating in a State Championship.
Competition is not the reason we do what we do, rather it is the joy and excitement that the students and staff receive from designing, perfecting, and performing the show to a high standard of excellence. Marching band is a valuable activity not only musically but also for teaching life lessons such as commitment, dedication, and the consistent strive for excellence. Our belief as an organization is that band is not about the trophies or coming in first place, but it is about the process we go through to succeed. It is about teamwork!
